MENA for Development and Education Company and Bonyan Development Company Limited have signed a memorandum of understanding to establish, operate and operate the Saudi Academy of Entertainment, which will provide specialized programs in the field of entertainment, to qualify national cadres to work in the sector, at the General Authority for Entertainment in Riyadh on Sunday, June 16, 2019 Shawwal 1440H, in the presence of the Executive Chairman of the General Authority for Leisure Mr. Amr bin Ahmed Panajh.
On this occasion, the Chief Executive Officer of the General Authority for Entertainment praised this step which enhances the complementary efforts between the entities and harmonizes the initiatives to come out with real value added projects in the sector, stressing the commitment of the Authority to support such qualitative initiatives that contribute to the development of a sustainable sector that meets the economic and social objectives. Said that the agreement will contribute to the establishment of private sector partnership through the rehabilitation of Saudi youth and contribute to the creation of employment opportunities and the development of programs specialized in entertainment, which is an important part of the vision of the Kingdom 2030.
Amr Panajah stressed the keenness of the Authority to support projects and initiatives aimed at formulating innovative models and solutions to support the sector and ensure that its objectives are achieved within a comprehensive strategy aimed at empowering the Saudi youth and enhancing their roles towards the development and development of the sector.
The first entertainment academy will be launched in Riyadh in September, and will offer a specialized Diploma program in entertainment management.
